Sober Women's Yoga brings together the wisdom of yoga and the lived experience of sobriety.
Sobriety is about so much more than not drinking. It can be a process of learning how to feel, rest, connect, set boundaries and live more truthfully. It asks us to develop new ways of meeting discomfort without abandoning ourselves.
Yoga offers practical tools for this journey.
Through movement, we reconnect with the body. Through breath, we learn to stay present. Through meditation, we witness our thoughts without automatically reacting to them. Through mantra and chanting, we soften the mind and connect with something greater than ourselves. Through circle, we experience the healing power of being seen and understood.
Each class weaves together:
- Accessible, vinyasa-inspired yoga
- Recovery principles and personal reflection
- Mantra and chanting
- Nervous-system regulation
- Yoga philosophy and storytelling
- Honest, compassionate community connection
Some weeks may feel energizing and empowering. Others may offer space to slow down, soften and rest. Every practice will invite you to listen to your body and honour what you need that day.
Sober Women's Yoga is less about achieving a pose and more about cultivating a supportive relationship with: - Your body
- Your emotions
- Your recovery
- Your community
- Your spiritual life
- Your most authentic self
Come to move, breathe, chant, reflect and share—or simply come to be held in the presence of other sober women.
