Join us for a free "Resting with the Sutras" class exploring one of the most practical and heart-opening teachings of the Yoga Sutras: Sutra 1.33.
In this practice, we’ll move through the four qualities of the heart — friendliness, compassion, joy, and equanimity — and explore how the way we relate to others directly shapes the state of our mind.
We’ll begin with 15 minutes of chanting the sutra in Sanskrit, allowing the words to settle into the body and breath. From there, we’ll move into a 45-minute yin yoga practice, where each posture becomes a space to reflect, soften, and embody these teachings. We’ll close with a 20-minute meditation.
This is a practice of releasing comparison, softening judgment, and learning how to keep your heart open… without losing yourself.
